Want to become more comfortable coaching other editors or even non-editors in your workplace who are looking to improve their writing and editing? Maybe you’re even interested in developing coaching as a side hustle to your editing business. Trouble is, your specialty is editing, not teaching. This seminar will provide ideas on how to develop a supportive relationship with a learner, assess their needs, and plan a roadmap for their editing progress that will help them level up their skills so they will become better revisors of their own work and maybe even ready for editing tasks themselves. Participants will take away tips on how adult learners like to learn, how to make coaching clients feel comfortable, and exercises that will empower them to take charge of their own learning and progress.
